Although it is not 100% clear from the website one of the subsections of indicates that they are lacking funding to complete the development of technologies that could luminate cancer cells making tumors visible.

For the UK - Prolume's distributor is called LUX Biotechnology which was founded in Edinburgh 2001 and perhaps with a far more serious looking website. Most notable of their products is GlowellTM - a device for calibration of photoic instruments by having a cold stable light without the need for batteries.
